Jared R. Vermillion

Jared R. Vermillion is an attorney at Carney Badley Spellman, P.S., in Seattle, Washington. He focuses his practice on corporate and business law. He regularly advises companies and business owners on mergers and acquisitions, ownership transitions and a variety of commercial transactions. Mr. Vermillion earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in management from California Lutheran University. His combined legal and business education allows him to approach client matters with a practical understanding of the operational and financial considerations that shape business decisions. This background enables him to provide thoughtful guidance to entrepreneurs and established companies as they navigate complex legal and commercial issues.

A Washington native, Mr. Vermillion joined Carney Badley Spellman, P.S., in 2021 and works with businesses across a diverse range of industries. His experience includes advising technology companies, including those in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) sector, as well as companies operating in highly regulated markets such as Washington’s I-502 cannabis industry. He has also assisted clients involved in private equity and venture capital transactions, helping them structure deals that support growth while addressing legal requirements.

Mr. Vermillion is admitted to practice in the state of Washington. He is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. Through his practice, he is committed to helping businesses make informed decisions and pursue opportunities with confidence.
