Justin Aanenson

Justin Aanenson is the founder and principal attorney of the law firm of Truce Law, based in Seattle, Washington. He is a trained collaborative law attorney and a certified mediator, handling divorces and other interwoven family matters in and out of the courtroom. He was licensed to practice law in Washington courts in 2012.

A friendly and fierce advocate for his clients, Mr. Aanenson is known for finding creative solutions and strategies to deal with the emotional and often complex issues posed by a family law matter. Throughout the legal process, he provides his clients with helpful advice that takes them through all the challenges of divorce. Clients benefit from his ability to work with them in any situation, his knowledge of the law and his extensive experience with similar cases.

With a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Washington, Mr. Aanenson earned his Juris Doctor from the Seattle University School of Law. He was one of the Washington State Scholars who were awarded scholarships based on an exceptional aptitude for the study of law, along with a strong history of service or commitment to issues relevant to the mission of the Seattle University School of Law.

An Avvo “Very Good” rated attorney, Mr. Aanenson derives great pleasure from his extensive involvement in law-related organizations and service to his community. In addition to serving as a mediator in the Snohomish County Dispute Resolution Center and the Arlington small claims court, he volunteers his talents through the Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission: Legal Services and the Washington State Bar Association’s Moderate Means Program.
