Linda B. Clapham

Relentless in her efforts and judicious in her advocacy, Linda B. Clapham leverages her nearly 40-plus years of experience at her clients’ behest, helping them resolve their complex insurance disputes without adding any undue stress during this difficult time. From the law office of Carney Badley Spellman, P.S., in Seattle, Washington, she primarily handles all aspects of insurance law, including all manners of coverage, bad-faith insurance and ERISA litigation, among many others. Furthermore, she is experienced in handling appellate matters as well.

Ms. Clapham completed her undergraduate studies in 1982, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Washington. She went on to attend the Willamette University School of Law, where she bolstered her legal talents through her involvement with organizations such as the Willamette Law Review, with the foresight of helping clients in the future. She received her Juris Doctor in 1986, and in the very next year, she obtained her license to practice law in Washington. Later on, she became admitted to practice before the following federal courts:

• The United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington

• The United States District Court for the District of Oregon

• The United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit
