Mark Rosencrantz

A partner at Carney Badley Spellman, P.S., in Seattle, Washington, Mark Rosencrantz serves as chair of the firm’s Construction Group. Recognized for his strategic insight and steadfast commitment, he represents a diverse array of clients in high-stakes commercial and construction disputes. Throughout his nearly 30 years of work, he has advised businesses of all sizes, from new startups to large national companies, helping them deal with complicated legal issues like contract breaches, disputes between shareholders, business wrongdoings, fraud, theft of trade secrets and enforcing agreements that limit competition.

In his construction law practice, Mr. Rosencrantz represents general contractors, subcontractors, developers, design professionals and owners throughout all phases of construction projects. His competence encompasses infrastructure developments, commercial buildings, and residential properties, focusing on defect claims, delay and impact controversies, bid protests and design copyright disputes. His deep industry knowledge, coupled with his litigation experience, renders him a trusted adviser in routine and crisis-level matters alike.

A graduate of Seattle University School of Law (J.D. 1996), Mr. Rosencrantz was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association the same year. He also contributes to the legal community as an arbitrator for King County Superior Court’s Mandatory Arbitration Program and as a speaker and author on topics related to commercial litigation, construction law and dispute resolution.
