Details
The founding attorney and one of the forces behind the Seattle Truck Law, PLLC, in Washington, Morgan Adams is a legal practitioner licensed to practice law in several states since 1989. Taking on cases nationwide from the firm’s office in Seattle, he represents the victims of catastrophic truck and bus crashes and advocates to protect the rights of people who have been harmed by other parties’ recklessness and negligent actions.
An alumnus of Bowdoin College, Mr. Adams received his bachelor’s degree in government with a minor in economics and joined the United States Marine Corps. During his time at the Marine Corps itself, he enrolled in the Georgia State University College of Law and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1989 and later graduated from the Trial Lawyers College.
Established as an industry leader when it comes to litigating truck and bus wreck cases, Mr. Adams has successfully taken on a few of the country’s largest and leading trucking and insurance companies. In addition to being a board-certified civil trial specialist, he was among the first few attorneys in the country to be certified as a truck accident specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Held in high regard and respect in the legal communities across the nation, Mr. Adams is peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating given to an attorney for their professional excellence. The National Trial Lawyers named him as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Tennessee and is also the first recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Association for Justice’s Trucking Litigation Group.
A member of the board of governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, Mr. Adams engages in several roles in other professional organizations such as the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, the Tennessee Bar Association and the TOAS Injury Lawyers.
*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell® is the facilitator of a peer-review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ fall into two categories – legal ability and general ethical standards.
