Priya Sinha Cloutier is an intellectual property attorney in Seattle, Washington. She has served as outside counsel for different businesses, advising on strategy, compliance and other complex intellectual property issues. She is the author of several articles in various publications and a former speaker at many conferences and seminars.

Actively engaged in the intellectual property law community, Ms. Cloutier holds leadership positions in the National Association of Patent Practitioners and is a contributor to the Puget Sound Business Journal Leadership Trust. She is a former chair of the American Constitution Society Puget Sound Lawyer Chapter and a member of the Clean and Safe Energy Coalition, the American Nuclear Society Puget Sound and the Washington State Bar Association.

Ms. Cloutier holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from the University of New Mexico and master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from Idaho State University and mathematics from the University of Connecticut. She earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law. 

As an intellectual property attorney, Ms. Cloutier holds a license to practice law before all Washington and Connecticut state courts. She is also qualified to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
