Mr. Sleight is the Managing Partner of Ahlers Cressman & Sleight PLLC.  His practice emphasizes construction and real estate matters, including representation at the front end, during and at the conclusion of projects.  This includes providing advice for development and construction of office towers, data centers, health care facilities, production facilities, schools and mixed-use commercial projects throughout the US.  Mr. Sleight is experienced in alternative contracting methods including, utilizing integrated contracts for lean construction and design-build delivery.  Inevitably, disputes arise and Mr. Sleight assists owners and contractors with prosecution and defense of claims and high stakes litigation and state and federal bid protests.  Mr. Sleight has litigated construction disputes in state courts, Federal District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the United States Court of Federal Claims and conducted complex jury trials and many arbitrations.  Mr. Sleight's experience extends to insurance coverage matters, including obtaining coverage for builder's risk claims, for policy holders and monitoring insurance-appointed defense counsel.
