Timothy W. Emery is a founding member of Emery | Reddy, PLLC, in Seattle, Washington, where he devotes his practice exclusively to complex class action litigation. He represents Washington workers and consumers in cases involving labor and industry claims, civil rights, discrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act violations, wage and hour disputes, whistleblower retaliation, and workers’ compensation matters. By suing serial violators of civil and workplace rights, he seeks to hold powerful entities accountable and bring meaningful change for large groups of affected individuals.

Mr. Emery’s legal career is defined by his deep commitment to worker advocacy and his ability to navigate the most challenging legal battles. His approach blends decades of trial experience with cutting-edge strategies in employment law, producing strong results for his clients. Before founding his firm, he spent nearly 10 years as general counsel for large corporations, where he gained valuable insight into corporate operations, compliance and defense strategies – knowledge he now uses to benefit the employees and consumers he represents.

Mr. Emery earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, followed by an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and a B.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University. He is admitted to practice in Washington, Utah, multiple U.S. District Courts and the United States Court for the 9th Circuit.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Emery is an active member of the legal community. He participates in the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Washington State Association for Justice, where he serves as an EAGLE member. His career reflects an unwavering dedication to protecting rights, advancing justice, and improving the lives of workers and consumers across Washington and beyond.

Mr. Emery has earned significant recognition for his outstanding work in the legal field. His honors include being named among the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers and the Top 10 Civil Rights Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers, achieving a perfect 10/10 rating on Avvo, being recognized as one of the Top 10 Attorneys – Workers’ Compensation by Americas Best Advocates and receiving the prestigious AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell® is the facilitator of a peer-review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary.
