Robert A. Silber

With over 20 years of experience, Robert A. Silber is no stranger to the complexities that come with handling contentious workers’ compensation cases, emphasizing maintaining consistency in his judicious advocacy through all aspects of the legal process. Mr. Silber completed his undergraduate studies in 1990, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He then spent six years in Hungary, where – among other roles – he served as an economics officer for the United States Embassy and was awarded the Fascell Fellowship by the State Department. After earning his master’s degree from Indiana University in 1996, he went on to attend the DePaul University College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2000. Three years after graduating from law school, he obtained his license to practice across all Washington state courts. 

A stalwart advocate for his clients, Mr. Silber is a malleable force and can easily adapt to changing situations to adjust strategic plans of action. Representing individuals injured at work before the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, appellate courts and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals on numerous occasions for nearly two decades, he understands the many intricate nuances that these organizational bodies entail to provide his clients with a genuine fighting chance to achieve their goals.

Within his legal community, Mr. Silber is closely affiliated with the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington State Association for Justice, wherein the latter organization he formerly served as chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section.
