Dwight Bond is an Associate Attorney working out of GLP Attorneys’ Spokane and Tri-Cities offices.
A native of Spokane, Dwight earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Simpson University in Redding, California, and his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Prior to joining GLP Attorneys as an Associate, Dwight worked with the firm as a legal intern and law clerk.
While working as a business consultant after college, Dwight interacted with a variety of attorneys on and was intrigued by what they did and the inner workings of the law. Eventually, Dwight decided to take the plunge and become a lawyer himself. When GLP Attorneys offered him a position as a legal intern, Dwight jumped at the chance to work in personal injury law.
Dwight enjoys practicing personal injury law because he wants to ease the burden for injured clients and their families in a real, direct, and meaningful way. As a consultant, Dwight was only able to make recommendations and suggestions to his clients – and the rest was up to them. Now, as an attorney, he can make a difference in the lives of his clients at a time when they need it most. There are many remedies available in civil law to help settle cases, and Dwight loves having these tools at his command. During his career at GLP Attorneys, Dwight has helped to prepare cases of all sizes for arbitration, mediation, and trial.
Although Dwight has worked on an array of personal injury cases, Dwight’s most memorable cases have included motor vehicle vs. semi-truck collisions, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and PI claims involving PTSD. Dwight is admitted to practice in the Superior and District Courts of Washington State, and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Spokane County Bar Association and the Washington State Association for Justice.
When not working, Dwight enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, snowboarding, and golfing.
