Casey Arbenz

As a managing partner at Puget Law Group, based in Tacoma, Washington, Casey Arbenz offers legal representation to individuals facing criminal charges and challenging injury claims throughout Washington state. He focuses his practice on criminal defense and serious personal injury matters, with significant experience handling high-stakes issues in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Arbenz represents clients facing a wide range of criminal offenses, including homicide, murder, manslaughter, domestic violence, sex offenses, drug crimes, juvenile offenses and DUI cases. He also advocates for individuals and families affected by serious accidents, including car, truck, bus, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, as well as boating incidents, dog bites and catastrophic injuries.

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Arbenz is admitted to practice law in all Washington state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He is also licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Oregon.

Mr. Arbenz graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the California State University, Chico, in 2000. He later graduated with a master’s degree from the California State University, Fullerton, in 2002. Later, he went on to pursue his legal studies at the Gonzaga University School of Law, where he gained his Juris Doctor in 2008.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Arbenz has served as president of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association New & Young Lawyers Section since 2012 and as a council member of the Gig Harbor City Council. His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Washington State Association for Justice.
