Ms. Langbehn completed her undergraduate studies in 1990, graduating with her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Puget Sound. She went on to pursue her higher education at The Evergreen State College and earned her Master of Public Administration degree in 1995, as well as her Master of Social Work degree in child welfare from the University of Washington three years later.
With a fervent passion to pursue law, Ms. Langbehn enrolled at the Seattle University School of Law, where her legal acumen and talents were bolstered through her active involvement in on-campus activities. She received her Juris Doctor in 2018, and in the same year, she obtained her license to practice law in Washington.

- Awarded the Presidential Citizen Medal from President Barack Obama. I received this for fighting for equality for LGBT families. I worked with the White House and HHS to change the HHS rules allowing LGBT families to be together during hospitalization without showing any documents that they were a couple, 2011.
