Marc T. Christianson is the law practice managing partner at the Tacoma, Washington, office of McKinley Irvin. In 1971, Mr. Christianson earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound. He then went on to attend Seattle University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1974. Following law school, Mr. Christianson was a clerk for a federal judge and then was in private practice before joining McKinley Irvin in 2010.

A member of the Washington State Bar Association, Mr. Christianson is licensed to practice before all state courts. He is a member and founder of the Family Law Section of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, for which he has served as both vice president and president. Mr. Christianson has also served in various positions with the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association.

Mr. Christianson is trained in a variety of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, arbitration and collaboration. This allows him to use means other than litigation, in which he is also trained, to settle family law disputes. Mr. Christianson is an advocate of collaborative law and is a member of Pierce Collaborative Law, Collaborative Professionals of Washington and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
