Amanda J. Cook

Amanda J. Cook is a family law attorney in University Place, Washington who has helped countless Washington residents resolve their complex family law disputes.  Ms. Cook practiced high-conflict family law litigation for over two decades and has also served as a Court Commissioner pro tempore since 2012. She now draws upon that experience as she practices collaborative family law and provides mediation services to assist in resolution of family law matters. 

Ms. Cook also provides divorce litigation support by drafting Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) to assist in implementing divorce retirement awards from both private and public retirement benefits.  

Ms. Cook has held various leadership positions in the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association Family Law Section and Collaborative Law Professionals of Pierce County and continues to be an active member of both organizations. She also belongs to the Washington State Bar Association, Domestic Relations Attorneys of Washington and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
