Details

Shaun Callahan is an experienced personal injury attorney who has dedicated his career to representing people whose lives have been forever changed by the negligence of others. For nearly a decade, he has successfully advocated for clients injured in automobile collisions, dog attacks, and premises liability incidents, guiding them through every stage of recovery with empathy, skill, and determination.

Shaun is licensed to practice law in both Washington and Oregon and proudly serves as Leader of GLP Attorneys’ Oregon Practice, expanding the firm’s commitment to client advocacy across state lines. In this role, he oversees the firm’s Oregon operations, builds relationships with local providers and community partners, and ensures that clients throughout the state receive the same high-quality representation for which GLP Attorneys is known.

Shaun’s decision to become a personal injury attorney is deeply personal. As a teenager, his grandparents were seriously injured in a car crash, and he witnessed firsthand the physical, emotional, and financial toll it took on their lives. That experience inspired him to dedicate his career to helping others navigate similar hardships and to fight tirelessly for fair compensation and justice. His compassion for clients, combined with his fierce advocacy against powerful insurance companies, defines his approach and drives his success both in and out of the courtroom.

In addition to his active litigation practice, Shaun leads GLP Attorneys’ Legal Internship Program for the South Sound region, providing hands-on mentorship and meaningful legal experience for law students pursuing careers in personal injury law.

A proud “double Dawg,” Shaun earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (2011) and his Juris Doctorate (2014) from the University of Washington. During law school, he won the university’s negotiation competition and interned with Intellectual Ventures and Avalara, Inc. Prior to joining GLP Attorneys in 2016, he practiced with the Johanson Law Group in Edmonds.

Shaun has been an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) since 2015 and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Washington Super Lawyers every year since 2019—an honor awarded to only the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state.

In fact, according to a 2018 study conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, trucking was rated the single most deadly line of work in the country. Furthermore, due to the sheer size of these vehicles, commercial truck collisions often result in the severe injury or death of other drivers on the road.
