Stacy Monahan Tucker

Stacy Monahan Tucker focuses her legal practice on ERISA and non-ERISA complex disability and life insurance benefit disputes throughout the Ninth Circuit.  She has practiced in ERISA law for over 25 years and has secured settlements totaling tens of millions of dollars on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Tucker provides bespoke support to white-collar professionals, doctors, lawyers, and business owners in their disability insurance disputes. She combines careful legal analysis with skilled negotiation and litigation to help clients pursue favorable resolutions while remaining prepared to advocate aggressively when disputes proceed to court.

Ms. Tucker earned her bachelor's degree, graduating cum laude, from the University of Chicago in 1994 before attending the University of Chicago Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2001. Prior to representing insureds, she handled insurance companies most complicated and expensive disability and life insurance litigation at some of the best-known law firms in the country. Her background provided a strong foundation for her current championship of insureds.

Admitted to practice in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona, Ms. Tucker is also admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington and the Supreme Court of the United States.
