Sara E. Zeigler

Her commitment to helping others continued through her role as an AmeriCorps Energy Express mentor, where she taught reading and writing to young students from low-income families.

Pursuing her passion for law, Ms. Zeigler attended West Virginia University College of Law from 2005 to 2008. During her time there, she was actively involved with the Public Interest Advocates and participated in the Clinical Law Program, providing legal assistance to clients in need. She also completed magistrate court mediator training and served as an intern at the 15th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office, furthering her dedication to public service.

After being admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in October 2009, Ms. Zeigler gained valuable trial experience as a public defender in Charleston, West Virginia, representing both adult and juvenile clients in magistrate and circuit courts. This role allowed her to refine her litigation skills and deepen her understanding of the legal system.

In 2012, Ms. Zeigler returned to North Central West Virginia and joined Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC. Her practice areas have expanded to include not only motor vehicle accidents but also slip/trip-and-fall cases and medical malpractice law. She is recognized for her dedication and effectiveness in these areas, as reflected in her "Excellent" rating on Avvo.
