A leader in her legal community, Ms. Ranson is selected as the Chair of the West Virginia State Bar's Family Law Committee as well as the Chair of the Kanawha County Family Law Bench-Bar Committee, an elected Vice-Chair of the ABA American Bar Association's Family Law Section. She is also a fellow with the prestigious AAML American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and she served on the West Virginia Ethics Commission from 1989 to 1991.
