Ms. Luce is licensed to practice in the state courts of West Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd and 4th Circuits.

A fellow of the West Virginia Bar Foundation, Ms. Luce is a senior fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She is a lifetime charter member of The Best Attorneys of America and a part of the American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice. She also formerly served on the board of governors of the New Jersey Association for Justice.

Ms. Luce is active in the community and has volunteered as a young basketball coach for the YMCA and with organizations like the Special Olympics and Project Hope. She went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with Project Serve back in 1982. In 1995, John D. Rockefeller, IV, a former senator from West Virginia, hired her as an intern.
