A native of Huntington, Mr. Ketchum earned his B.B.A. cum laude from Ohio University, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. After law school, he returned to Huntington in 1994 to enter practice with his father. His professional contributions and legal achievements have been recognized by several honors, including selection to the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. In 2007, Mr. Ketchum named one of West Virginia’s 40 Best and Brightest Professionals Under 40. He earned a diploma from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), held at Northwestern University School of Law, in 1998.
