Ms. Risseeuw graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with distinction in 2000. During her junior year in college, she studied abroad at the Complutense University of Madrid. She then attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review as well as secretary of the Moot Court Board. While pursuing her legal degree, she received several awards for her outstanding academic achievements, and she obtained her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2005.

The State Bar of Wisconsin admitted Ms. Risseeuw that same year, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Additionally, she serves as pro hac vice attorney for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.

A leader in her field, Ms. Risseeuw has many publications to her credit, and she has conducted lectures and seminars across her region on a variety of legal topics related to personal injury law, appeals, witness interrogations and other subjects. She has also held several leadership positions with the Wisconsin Association for Justice and the Outagamie County Bar Association.

Devoted to her local community as well, Ms. Risseeuw is a former board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fox Valley Region, and she serves as coach of the Mock Trial Team at Lawrence University.
