Attorney Hynes currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin State Bar - Labor and Employment Section, and the Board of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. He has also been a long-time volunteer for the Wisconsin Employment Lawyers Association.

A Wisconsin native, Jeff is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained his Juris Doctorate of Law degree from the UW Law School in 1984.

The law firm provides legal advice, negotiation, mediation, and/or litigation services in the following areas:

Our attorneys pride themselves on providing prompt, practical, and cost effective advice, with an emphasis on resolving workplace disputes through preventative legal counsel, and out-of-court settlement, where feasible. However, we will not hesitate to aggressively pursue litigation, if such option is in the best interest of our client.

Attorney Hynes brings a strong and diverse background to the table. He served as Staff Counsel to National Labor Relations Board member Patricia Diaz Dennis in Washington, D.C., and practiced labor and employment law with the reputable law firms of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue (Cleveland, OH) and Morgan Lewis & Bockius (Washington, D.C.), prior to returning to Wisconsin in 1988. His philosophy is to put the client's interests first, and to utilize the Firm's substantial legal skills and experience to obtain common sense, "win-win” resolutions for clients who are facing discipline, discrimination, termination, or other adverse consequences to their career, livelihood, good name or reputation. However, where voluntary resolution is not feasible, Attorney Hynes (and the other lawyers in the Firm) pledge to vigorously and forcefully pursue litigation and/or appeals to their logical conclusion, as the situation may require.
