Evan Y. Lin is the founding attorney and managing member of Lin Law LLC. He practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Corporate / Business Law. Evan has been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). The AEP® designation is a graduate level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning and recognizes estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character.
Evan received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin, cum laude, in 1998. While in law school, Evan received awards for highest achievement in his Federal Estate / Gift Tax class and his Corporate Tax class. Evan is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has been an adjunct faculty member at NWTC, teaching a class in Estate Planning and Probate Administration. Evan's professional affiliations include serving as current President of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin, Past President of the Green Bay Estate Planning Forum, and Past President of the Brown County Bar Association. Evan is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Evan has also been elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Solo, Small Firm & General Pratice Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
