Russell D. Nicolet

Russell D. Nicolet is an attorney at Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers, and practices out of the firm’s Wisconsin and Minnesota offices. Mr. Nicolet focuses his practice on personal injury, serving clients throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. 

Mr. Nicolet has been practicing law for over a decade and has worked on cases involving motor vehicle accidents, animal bites, slip-and-fall accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death and other issues. He knows the pressures his clients face and fights hard to get them the best results, often in the face of stiff opposition from insurance companies, banks and other powerful defendants.

Recognizing his legal capabilities, the National Trial Lawyers included Mr. Nicolet on the “Top 40 Under 40” list several years in a row. He is also the recipient of honors from the American Society of Legal Advocates, the Motor Vehicle Accident Trial Lawyers Association, the Trucking Trial Lawyers Association and the National Advocates. He has been quoted in several stories for national publications.

Active in professional organizations, Mr. Nicolet is a member of the Eau Claire County Bar Association, the St. Croix Valley Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, and the National Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Nicolet received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, now known as Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law before the Wisconsin and Minnesota state courts, as well as the federal courts in western Wisconsin and Minnesota.
