For more than thirty years, Tracy Tool has dedicated his legal career to one straightforward mission: making sure that injured people are treated fairly. Whether he's facing a major insurance company across the negotiating table or standing before a jury in a Wisconsin or Minnesota courtroom, Tracy brings the same steady commitment — to listen carefully, fight hard, and get his clients the outcome they deserve.

Tracy is a board-certified civil trial specialist who handles cases in the state and federal courts of both Wisconsin and Minnesota. His practice focuses on the rights of individual people, not corporations or government bodies. He represents clients in cases involving serious physical injury, wrongful death, nursing home neglect, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, dangerous products, and insurance disputes. When big companies and insurers try to minimize valid claims, Tracy uses every tool the law provides to level the playing field.

Tracy earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1990, where he served as Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review — an early sign of the careful, methodical approach to legal work that has defined his career. He also holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota (1987). Since 2007, he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, and he regularly lectures at seminars for fellow attorneys. He received the NBI Outstanding Faculty Award in both 2022 and 2023.

Beyond the classroom, Tracy has volunteered as the attorney coach for the River Falls High School Mock Trial team since 2003 — more than two decades of helping young people build confidence, think critically, and work as a team. He also volunteers as a fluid station captain for the Twin Cities Marathon. A proud Minnesotan through and through, he's a devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins and the Golden Gophers.
