As a result of the collision, our client the pedestrian sustained multiple injuries, including a broken leg requiring surgery. The insurance company for the other driver denied the claim citing an eyewitness who believed our client’s vehicle was the vehicle which negligently crossed the centerline. - $60,000 A Hupy and Abraham client was rear-ended by another driver. The driver of the other vehicle was using someone else’s vehicle. Attorney Brandon Derry obtained the policy limits from the vehicle owner’s insurance company. Attorney Derry also filed a claim against the other driver’s insurance company. The driver’s insurance company denied the claim arguing there was no insurance company coverage for this situation. Attorney Derry disagreed and filed a lawsuit. The insurance company tried to get the judge to dismiss the case, but Attorney Derry convinced the judge that there should be a jury trial.
