Cedric Kostelyna

Serving clients across the state of Wisconsin from his office at The Law Center, S.C., in Madison, Wisconsin, Cedric Kostelyna provides reliable representation in matters of family law, estate planning and probate, and education law. A formidable advocate, he prioritizes his client’s needs and interests over all and ensures his approach to each case aligns with the same. He handles cases involving divorce, child custody, paternity, guardianship, school law and adoption, among others.

Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in education at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, Mr. Kostelyna proceeded to study law at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Law School. While pursuing law, he worked in clinics and at a no-profit firm, where he provided dependable advocacy to vulnerable members of the community. This experience exposed him to the workings of the judicial system and the vital aspects of client service early on.

Outside of his courtroom practice, Mr. Kostelyna worked with the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Legal Studies Department, teaching a section of Law, Politics and Society. His teaching experience enhanced his ability to comprehend and address the distinct needs and challenges faced by the diverse families and individuals he represents, allowing for more tailored and effective advocacy.

Additionally taking on guardian ad litem appointments, Mr. Kostelyna protects the most vulnerable in family law proceedings by acting as the child's objective voice. By focusing entirely on the child's safety, emotional needs and long-term welfare, he ensures custody disputes prioritize the minor's best interests. He provides them with legal agency, isolating them from parental conflict and providing judges with unbiased recommendations to secure a stable, supportive future for the children.
