With 28 years of experience, Mr. Gahnz is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Gahnz has represented thousands of clients throughout Wisconsin, taught classes to law students, paralegals and other legal professionals on injury related issues.
In 1989, Mr. Gahnz graduated from the University of Wisconsin with Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and Political Science. He then attended the University of Wisconsin Law School where he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 1994. Mr. Gahnz and his firm Lawton & Cates have always believed that service is an important part of being an attorney. He has served on the Village Board for Deforest, Wisconsin the Downtown Redevelopment Authority, and formed the non-profit entity for Hungry For Some Supper Myself.
Mr. Gahnz is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Justice and has served on its board of directors. He is also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Association for Justice, the Dodge County Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association and the Dane County Bar Association. With a goal to provide equal justice for all people, he works daily to improve his professionalism, his skills and his ethics.
