Emily L.R. Wilson (she/they) is a shareholder and attorney with Kowalski, Wilson & Vang, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. A nationally ranked lawyer with more than a dozen years of experience, Emily devotes her practice solely to family law. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Emily obtained her Juris Doctor from The City University of New York School of Law, in 2011. She is an active member of the Dane County Bar Association and the Sauk County Bar Association, among her other professional affiliations.

Emily has given presentations at State Bar of Wisconsin legal education seminars, regarding topics such as child abuse, domestic violence, education for new lawyers, transgender issues, and ethics.

Emily was elected to the State Bar of Wisconsin Family Law Section Board of Directors, in 2024.
