Ginger L. Murray is the founder of Your Family Law Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Ms. Murray manages cases involving divorce, legal separation, custody/placement, child support, paternity, guardianship, and other family law matters. She frequently uses non-adversarial methods, such as mediation and/or arbitration, to resolve cases, but is well-equipped and experienced in taking a case to trial, if needed. She serves clients in the Madison, Jefferson , and Janesville areas, as well as throughout Wisconsin.
Ms. Murray dedicates herself to providing compassionate and effective legal representation to families experiencing a change or transition due to a divorce, adoption or other family related legal issues. She develops strong, personal relationships with the families she works with, helping them obtain the best possible outcome for their specific situation, while always keeping children as the highest priority.
Active in many professional organizations, Ms. Murray belongs to the Dane County Bar Association, the Legal Association for Women and the James E. Doyle American Inn of Court. In addition, she was elected to serve her community as the Chair of the Anti-Bullying Collaborative of Sun Prairie, and Co-Chair of the Sun Prairie High School Gymnastics Booster Club.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Martindale-Hubbell awarded Ms. Murray an AV Preeminent* peer review rating. This is the organization’s highest available rating, presented to a select group of attorneys demonstrating a high degree of legal ability and ethical standards. She is also a fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation and sits on the board of the Wisconsin InterProfessional Committee on Divorce.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ms. Murray earned her law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. She is qualified to practice law before all Wisconsin state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
