Glorily A. Lopez

Ms. Lopez graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota, receiving her Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in psychology and a minor in anthropology, and women's studies in 1996. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2000 and became authorized to practice law in Wisconsin the following year. She has also appeared before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She served as a law clerk at the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the City of Madison Attorney's Office.

Ms. Lopez is a long-serving member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served the organization in various capacities including as its vice chair, treasurer, congressional liaison and member of the board of governors. Additionally, she holds memberships in the American Immigration Council, the Federal Bar Association – Immigration Law Section, the Dane County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, the Latino Professionals Association of Greater Madison, the LGBT Bar Association of Wisconsin and the National Association of Foreign Student Advisors.

Among Ms. Lopez’s most notable awards and accolades include a "Superb" rating on Avvo and an Avvo Clients’ Choice Award. She was on the list of Wisconsin's 48 Most Powerful Latinos by Madison365 and the Global Who’s Who Top Lawyers. The Best Lawyers in America named her to their Top Lawyers in Immigration Law and named her the Madison Immigration Lawyer of the Year several times.
