John N. Giftos

John Giftos began his legal practice in 2000 working as a commercial litigator in the Jacksonville Florida office of a large national law firm.  Mr. Giftos moved to Wisconsin with his family in 2005 and has been practicing there ever since.  He has a wide array of experience assisting clients in complex litigation in both federal district and state trial courts across the country. In addition, he has experience before the Wisconsin and Florida state appellate courts, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Giftos has also helped his clients resolve their disputes through arbitration and mediation. The scope of his practice is broad, but Mr. Giftos has significant experience in the areas of complex commercial disputes and health care litigation.  His experience also includes products liability claims, securities claims and related FINRA arbitrations, trust and estate litigation, civil theft of trade secrets, breach of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, fiduciary duty claims, corporate governance issues, fraud claims, insurance coverage, and an assortment of contract issues.
