Lisa C. Goldman is an accomplished attorney and partner at Davey & Goldman Law Firm, a reputable law firm situated in Madison, Wisconsin. She has also achieved successful litigation outcomes against law enforcement officers and their employing entities in federal civil rights litigation.  She has developed new law in the realm of ERISA litigation securing a new avenue for relief for individuals and securing damages in equitable claims.

Ms. Goldman completed her undergraduate studies in political science at the University of Wisconsin in Madison–Wisconsin in 1990. Later, she attended her alma mater’s law school and received her J.D. in 1997. Licensed to practice in Wisconsin, she has appeared before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

While pursuing her legal education, Ms. Goldman served as a law clerk at the Wisconsin Department of Justice and as a student attorney in the Legal Defense Program. She also took on the role of a student representative for Westlaw, contributing her insights to this legal research platform. Her dedication to honing her advocacy skills earned her the distinction of being a semifinalist in the Heffernan Oral Advocacy Competition and a quarterfinalist in the August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Products Liability Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Goldman has dedicated six years to serving on the Professional Ethics Committee of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Also, she has received numerous appointments from the Supreme Court of Wisconsin to act as a referee or judge in cases involving attorney discipline. She further maintains active membership in the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Dane County Bar Association, past membership in the American Bar Association and the American Inns of Court.

Dedicated to disseminating her proficiency in the field of law, Ms. Goldman has presented at various seminars and established herself as a skilled author in the field.
