Megan E. Corning is the vice president and attorney at the Madison, Wisconsin-based law firm, Your Family Law Center. Admitted to practice by the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2011, she has found her purpose in giving proper guidance and legal representation to the people of the state in complex matters involving family law. Ms. Corning joined the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and secured her bachelor’s degree in 2008, after which she went on to pursue her passion for law. Obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2011 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, she secured her practice license in the same year. She had obtained a certificate in family law from law school, and was actively involved in the Family Court Assistance Project gaining a wealth of knowledge working closely with divorce, paternity and other post-judgment matters of family law.
Before enrolling as a law student, Ms. Corning functioned as a student intern at her alma mater’s Family Court Clinic. Here, she imparted knowledge on procedures and filling forms to pro se litigants. Speaking from experience worth more than 11 years, she also engages in seminars and presentations on trial preparation and processes to provide training to upcoming family law attorneys.
