A renowned attorney known across the United States, Michael P. Richman is a judicious bankruptcy attorney who is knowledgeable in a wide range of matters, including Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcies, farm bankruptcy, credit repair, collections, and individual and business bankruptcy. In addition, he is also knowledgeable in business law and commercial litigation and helps clients with foreclosure defense as well. He represents the residents of Madison, Wisconsin, and nationwide from the law firm of Richman & Richman LLC.
Mr. Richman completed his undergraduate studies in political science at Vassar College with honors in 1975 and went on to pursue his legal education at Columbia Law School. While at law school, he was the managing editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and won the Berger Prize in international law in honor of Wolfgang Friedmann. Additionally, he was also a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was studious in his academics. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1979 and is licensed to practice in New York and Wisconsin.
