Richard A. Coad

A prominent criminal defense attorney based in Madison, Wisconsin, Richard A. Coad established Coad Law Office, S.C., in 2011. With about two decades of experience, he is equipped to take on complex cases involving assault and battery, criminal fraud, criminal law, drug and alcohol violations, DUI/DWI, and federal crimes. Licensed by the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2004, he extends his practice statewide.

With a bachelor’s degree in business management, which he earned from Gettysburg College, Mr. Coad proceeded to obtain his Juris Doctor from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. Apart from focusing his attention on regular practice, he is also an active part of the legal community, having presented papers on several relevant topics at various state and national conferences. In addition, he holds memberships in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Dane County Bar Association.
