Aneeq Ahmad

The founder of Ahmad & Associates, Aneeq Ahmad focuses his practice exclusively on criminal defense matters. From his firm’s office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he provides aggressive advocacy on behalf of his clients in the greater metropolitan area and throughout the state. Mr. Ahmad pursued his undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he majored in human development and received a Bachelor of Science in 2004. He subsequently decided to obtain a legal education, and to that end, he enrolled at the University of Wisconsin School of Law. While he was there, he participated in mock trial competitions prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2011.

Mr. Ahmad’s client base is made up of people who have been accused by the state or federal government with having committed misdemeanor or felony offenses. The types of cases that he has handled during his career have included weapons violations, driving under the influence of alcohol, sexual assault, drug possession and trafficking, arson, burglary, armed robbery, homicide, battery, child abuse, and disorderly conduct.

Mr. Ahmad has been successful in obtaining positive results for his clients, whether through a reduction of charges, dismissals, and acquittals after a jury or bench trial. When appropriate and approved by his clients, he has negotiated favorable plea agreements with the prosecution. Mr. Ahmad’s track record and high degree of ethics has earned him a great deal of favorable recognition from his fellow members of the bar, including a 10.0 “Superb” peer-review rating through Avvo. Admitted to practice in Wisconsin since 2011, he is also admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
