Attorney Profile

As the founder of Jacobs Injury Law, S.C., Ann S. Jacobs handles cases of personal injury, focusing on nursing homes. She represents clients in the Milwaukee and Waukesha metropolitan areas and handles cases of medical malpractice, financial abuse and fraud. She has an Avvo “Superb” rating, is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin state courts, before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims for vaccine injuries.

Before founding her practice and aggressively defending the rights of the injured, Ms. Jacobs spent her days in the public defender’s office. During the almost 10 years she worked there, she gained strong trial skills and litigated everything from juvenile cases to homicides in jury trials. For the outstanding work she has done for her clients, she was named in Milwaukee Magazine as one of the top 25 Women Lawyers in Wisconsin every year since 2005.

A 1992 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, Ms. Jacobs earned a Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude. During her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin, she was given the Leon Epstein Award. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Association for Justice, the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.

Ms. Jacobs has also written for the State Bar of Wisconsin’s “Law of Damages” book and is co-author of a section of Wisconsin’s State Bar book. A Law Day Telethon volunteer, a member of the dinner committee for the Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund, Inc., and a valuable part of Wisconsin Election Protection for the last 15 years, Ms. Jacobs regularly gives back to her community.
