Charles Polk III

As the managing attorney at Sobo & Sobo, LLP, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Charles Polk III brings a wealth of experience in personal injury law. With over six years of navigating diverse cases, his practice encompasses everything from motor vehicle collisions to slip-and-fall incidents, dog bites, nursing home neglect and construction site mishaps.

Beyond his personal injury work, Mr. Polk has served as the deputy city attorney for Glendale and Brown Deer, as well as the municipal prosecutor for Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. He is known for his readiness to take cases to trial, advocating that thorough preparation from the start enhances the likelihood of achieving favorable outcomes for his clients, whether through settlement or verdict.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Polk now calls Milwaukee home, where he is known for his warm and friendly approach – a reflection of his Midwestern roots. He graduated from Colgate University in 2016, where he made history as the first freshman to pass a bill in the Student Government Senate’s 205-year history. 

Returning to the Midwest, Mr. Polk pursued his legal education at Marquette University Law School. There, he was a class representative for six semesters, vice president of the Student Bar Association and president of Marquette University Law School’s American Bar Association Chapter. Since being admitted to practice in Wisconsin in 2019, he has earned the credentials to appear before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
