Jaclyn C. Kallie

Jaclyn C. Kallie is an attorney in Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols’ litigation practice group. Jaclyn’s practice focuses on representing a wide variety of businesses in litigation matters in both state and federal court, primarily in the areas of complex insurance coverage issues, bad faith claims and commercial litigation. Ms. Kallie also represents both employers and employees in a variety of labor and employment litigation matters, including non-compete and other restrictive covenants, sexual harassment, wage disputes, retaliation, ADA compliance and all variety of discrimination.  Jaclyn is also well-versed in personal injury claims, real estate disputes, breach of contracts, and civil sexual assault and battery claims. Jaclyn has the experience and understanding to advise clients on the possible outcomes and costs of litigation, so that clients have a realistic and comprehensive understanding of the process and issues involved in order to make strategic decisions throughout litigation.

In addition to her law practice, Jaclyn is the President-Elect of the State Bar of Wisconsin Labor and Employment Law Section, currently serving as Secretary and Treasurer on the board. Apart from the Labor and Employment Law Section, Ms. Kallie is an active member of several other professional associations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association and the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association. She is also involved in TEMPO's Emerging Women Leaders initiative and the Association for Women Lawyers. Furthermore, she served as a mentor in the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association Mentoring Program.

Prior to joining Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols, Ms. Kallie spent over a decade trying cases at other prominent Milwaukee area litigation firms. She established herself as a highly regarded attorney serving clients within the Milwaukee area and across the entire state. Her past practice focused on complex legal matters, including civil litigation, probate and trust litigation (will contests, trust disputes, estate disputes, asset disputes, competency issues, undue influence and more) and personal injury (car accidents, truck and commercial vehicle crashes, pedestrian mishaps). Beyond this, Ms. Kallie has also defended business litigants in product liability and toxic tort matters, related to both lead paint and asbestos exposures.

Ms. Kallie's outstanding legal acumen and dedication to her profession have not gone unnoticed. Her exceptional legal skills and commitment to her clients have been consistently acknowledged through various awards and recognitions, such as being included in the Best Lawyers "Ones to Watch" list in business organizations (LLCs and partnerships), litigation-real estate, litigation-construction, litigation-trusts and estates and personal injury litigation (plaintiff), being recognized as "One to Watch" in The Best Lawyers in America’s "Women in the Law" Spring Business Edition in 2021 and being featured in BizTimes 2025 Women in Business Issue for her leadership, to name a few. Ms. Kallie has also been named a Super Lawer Rising Star in civil litigation defense since 2019. Additionally, she is lead counsel verified.

Ms. Kallie has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Ms. Kallie graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2012 with a civil litigation certificate and as an inductee to the Pro Bono Honors Society. While in law school, Ms. Kallie competed in the Jenkins Honorary Moot Court Competition, was a quarterfinalist in the National Moot Court Competition and served as the Associate Justice of Education for the Executive Moot Court Board. Since graduating, Jaclyn has remained involved in the Marquette Moot Court program, serving as a volunteer coach for the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition and Spong Moot Court Competition and as a volunteer judge at the Jenkins Honorary Moot Court Competition and National Moot Court Competition. Her passion for community involvement is also evidenced by her prior volunteer work with the Special Olympics and the Elmbrook Humane Society. In 2009, Ms. Kallie attained her double major in finance and entrepreneurship with minors in criminology and law studies from Marquette University, graduating cum laude.
