    Mr. Obear has over 25 years of legal experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney. Prior to founding his practice, he spent over 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in various legal roles.

    Mr. Obear graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mount Olive. He received his law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law. He is a graduate of the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center & School.

    Serving in various leadership positions, Mr. Obear is president of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and sits on the board of directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Sheboygan County Democrats. He is on the national legal committee of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws and a member of the 7th Circuit Bar Association and the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association.

    Mr. Obear holds a license to practice law before all Wisconsin state and federal courts, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also belongs to the Judge Advocate’s Association.
