Throughout her career in law, Ms. LaFave takes immense delight in standing up for people and defending their rights. Her two biggest advocacy skills are empathy and understanding. While in law school, Ms. LaFave served as a judicial extern for a renowned judge at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

An active affiliate with the legal community, Ms. LaFave serves as a treasurer at the Association for Women Lawyers and a contributing editor for the Wisconsin Association for Justice’s (WAJ) publication, The Verdict.
