Matthew R. Robbins

The president of The Previant Law Firm, S.C., in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Matthew R. Robbins is renowned across the United States for his astute legal acumen and passionate representation for his clients. A labor law attorney through and through, he has helped clients for over 40 years deal with legal issues that are complex and require a deft hand to deal with. He focuses his practice on labor law litigation and complex labor relations.

Mr. Robbins graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972 from the University of Michigan. He then attended the Wayne State University Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 1977. He received his license to practice in Wisconsin the same year.

Mr. Robbins is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th, 7th and 8th Circuits, the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Outside his law practice, he stays engaged in his legal community with his professional affiliations to the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, serving on the organization’s board of directors, and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
