Michael Fuentes

Michael Fuentes is a highly skilled and dedicated defense attorney who passionately represents clients facing a wide array of serious criminal charges, such as DUI/DWI, misdemeanors and felonies. Operating from his Milwaukee, Wisconsin, office at Nolan Defense Alliance, he is committed to safeguarding the legal rights of individuals, companies and organizations. Mr. Fuentes received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he worked with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, helping review cases for individuals claiming wrongful conviction. This experience opened his eyes to how the legal system can sometimes fail to protect an innocent person’s rights, eventually pushing him to become a defense lawyer. He earned his license to practice in Wisconsin in 2021 and has since been committed to defending the voiceless.

Kicking off his career working at the Wisconsin State Public Defenders Office in Milwaukee, Mr. Fuentes served as lead counsel in numerous cases. Here, he built his foundational knowledge on witness cross-examination, challenging police searches and courtroom advocacy. Gaining deep insight into the workings of the judicial system, he took to private practice at his current office, where he continues to advocate fiercely for justice and client rights.
