Michael G. Levine

Michael G. Levine is the founding voice of Levine Law, LLC, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he has built a distinguished career defending clients in state and federal courts. His practice areas include criminal defense, sex offenses, arrest and arraignment, assault and battery, criminal fraud, drug and alcohol violations, expungement, false accusations, felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile delinquency, motor vehicle offenses, murder, probation, theft and criminal domestic violence. He also handles personal injury and other civil litigation matters.

Mr. Levine's path to the courtroom began at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 2000. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 2003. During law school, he clerked for a respected criminal defense firm in Coral Gables, Florida, and served as a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office. Following graduation, he worked as an assistant public defender in Broward County before returning to Wisconsin in 2005 to join the Law Offices of Robert A. Levine.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Levine has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict and represented hundreds of clients. He is admitted to practice before all Wisconsin and Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. His peers and professional organizations have consistently recognized his work. He has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 from 2015 to 2025, received lifetime achievement recognition from America's Top 100 Attorneys in 2020, earned a Distinguished* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a "Superb" rating on Avvo.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Levine is a real estate developer and commercial broker focusing on tenant representation, with more than 25 million dollars in completed transactions. He is an active member of several bar associations and volunteers his services at the Milwaukee County Justice Center.
