Patrick D. Kern

An integral part of Hickey & Turim SC’s legal team, Patrick D. Kern has been practicing law at the firm ever since he was authorized by the state bar to provide legal representation and support to the people of Wisconsin. Lauded by many for his work in the area of workers’ compensation law, he assists injured and violated workers and is adept at handling matters pertaining to this niche. He primarily works with individuals from Milwaukee, West Allis, Green Bay, West Bend, Kenosha and Brookfield.

Majoring in criminology and psychology, Mr. Kern graduated from one of the finest institutions in the Twin Cities, the University of Minnesota, in 2008. After completing his undergraduate studies, he served as a consumer aide at the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Criminal Litigation Unit for almost two years. Working here ignited his passion for helping people who have been wronged, and he decided to further pursue his education. He enrolled in the Marquette University Law School and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2013. 

Mr. Kern’s commitment to achieving justice for his clients has made him a trusted ally for many who are facing issues concerning workers’ compensation law. Over the years, he has realized that many employers, whether large or small, take advantage of individuals who aren’t well-versed in the state’s labor laws. They either terminate them without any valid cause or deny them the benefits they rightfully deserve.
