Samantha Baker

A partner and shareholder of AXEPOINT LAW, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Samantha Baker is prolific in her practice of providing help and support to clients who have a wide variety of legal problems, ranging from business and commercial law to a host of employment law matters, such as sexual harassment in the workplace, wage and hour laws, wrongful termination and many more. She serves the residents of the Milwaukee metropolitan area, as well as Kenosha and Racine.

Ms. Baker completed her undergraduate studies in 2015, graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Bachelor of Arts degree. During that time, she was a part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Achievement Connections (served as a math tutor) and the Big Ten Leadership Network. She then attended the Marquette University Law School, serving as a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and the Sports Law Society. Prior to receiving her Juris Doctor in 2018, she was included in the dean’s list on numerous occasions and received her sports law certification from the National Sports Law Institute.

With a penchant for consistent learning, Ms. Baker served as a legal intern at the Wisconsin Supreme Court for Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson, where she helped draft bench memoranda and analyze cases and briefs. In addition, she also interned for the baseball team – the Milwaukee Brewers – to gain even more insight into the world of sports law. The practical exposure she gained has helped hone her shrewd legal acumen, which she now uses to aid her clients.

Outside her legal practice, Ms. Baker stays closely affiliated with organizations such as the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association. In service to her local community, she spends considerable time working at legal clinics to help individuals who otherwise would not receive the same caliber of advocacy, including at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics.
