After graduating from Marquette University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in criminology, Mr. Govin earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2003. He knew from the outset that he wanted to pursue a career in criminal defense. While in law school, Mr. Govin worked as an intern at Milwaukee County Circuit Court and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, and practiced law during his last year in law school at the Milwaukee office of the Wisconsin State Public Defender. Today, he is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
