Jeffrey T. Oswald

Attorney Jeffrey T. Oswald is the managing partner of Hammett, Bellin & Oswald, LLC, in Neenah, Wisconsin. Mr. Oswald concentrates his practice on criminal defense, serving clients in Neenah, Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay and the surrounding counties.

Born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, Mr. Oswald returned to the region following law school and opened Hammett, Bellin & Oswald, LLC, shortly thereafter. He has over two decades of experience and handles cases involving battery, child abuse, disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, drug crimes, expungement and juvenile matters. A seasoned litigator, he is the recipient of “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” award from The National Trial Lawyers.

Additionally, Mr. Oswald defends clients in DWI/OWI cases, providing personalized and compassionate representation, while aggressively fighting for reduced or dismissed charges. He understands that a criminal charge can have devastating consequences in many areas of an individual’s life and works hard to obtain the best possible outcome for each client, allowing them to move forward and make a fresh start.

Staying involved in his legal and professional communities is a priority for Mr. Oswald. He is a member of the Outagamie County Bar Association, the Winnebago County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense. Serving his local community, he coaches youth basketball and is a board member of various organizations.

Mr. Oswald earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to receive his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. While attending law school, he received various academic awards and participated in moot court. He holds a license to practice law before all Wisconsin state courts.
