Steven Toney

Steve Toney has been a trial lawyer since 1977. He has been recognized by Milwaukee Magazine as a "Top Attorney" in Wisconsin for 2020 based upon peer recognition and his achievements.  He is recognized by Martindale Hubbell for a "Very High Rating in Both Legal Ability & Ethical Standards" (top 5% of Attorneys in Wisconsin). 

His litigation experience includes representing seriously injured victims in 10 states over 42 years in motor vehicle crashes, truck crashes, boating accidents, snowmobile accidents, aircraft crashes, biking accidents, farm accidents, uninsured motorist claims, premises liability claims and products liability cases.  He has represented accident victims with severe injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, and the families of wrongful death victims.  He has a strong reputation for his expertise and thoroughness as a trial lawyer.

He is a former Assistant District Attorney for Waupaca County, former President of the Waupaca County Bar Association, for member of the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Association of Trial Lawyers (now known as Wisconsin Association for Justice).  

Steve Toney is also a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, having served there in 1968 during and after the 1968 'Tet Offensive.'
